We are delighted to announce that Craigdale were awarded the Best Frontline Story award last night at the Chartered Institute of Housing Awards. Our entry summarised the Craigdale Cares initiative, which began in 2020 with an award of over £25,000 to assist tenants with food shopping, which was distributed direct to our tenants. The campaign has continued with more plans for support and assistance we can offer through Craigdale Cares in 2021.
The award recognised the efforts of Craigdale staff and we were delighted to accept the award at a virtual awards ceremony last night.
David Mackenzie, Craigdale’s Chief Executive Officer said; “ This is a fantastic recognition of the efforts of Craigdale staff, who always go out of their way to support all of our tenants as much as they can and we are delighted that the Chartered Institute of Housing Scotland have made this award. We were up against a number of entrants across Scotland in the best frontline story category and our staff and Board are delighted to win this award. Our aim in 2021 is to build on the Craigdale Cares theme and we will make sure we keep doing all we can to help our tenants in these difficult times”
