Security of Tenure

All of our Scottish Secure Tenants have security of tenure as defined by the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001. The Association will never seek to end a tenancy without very good cause.

Tenancies can only be ended in the following ways:

• Giving 28 days written notice to the Craigdale Housing Association
• By written agreement between the tenant and the Association
• If the tenant dies and there is no one who has the right of succession to the tenancy
• Repossession of the property by the Association
